The Great Norfoam Esky Competition - Enter to WIN!

1. Competition Overview 

Participants are invited to enter a competition to win an Esky Cool Box (Competition). To be eligible for the competition, participants must submit an image of their new patio featuring Norfoam Insulated Roof Panels in accordance with these terms and conditions. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions (Terms). By participating in this Competition, participants accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.

The promoter is Metecno Pty Ltd trading as Norfoam Australia ABN 44 096 402 934 of 123 Enterprise Street, Bohle QLD 4818 (Promoter).

2. Eligibility 

• Entry to the Competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older only.
• Directors and employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
• The Competition commences at 9:00am AEST on 01/10/2024 and finishes at 5:00pm AEST on 31^st March 2025 (Competition Period). No further entries to the Competition will be accepted after the Competition Period.
• No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for entries not received for whatever reason.

3. How to enter 

• To enter, participants must, during the Competition Period, submit their contact details and an image of their newly installed patio using Norfoam Insulated Roof Panels on the Norfoam website.
• The Norfoam Insulated Roof Panels must have been purchased from Norfoam Townsville, 123 Enterprise Street, Bohle QLD 4818.
• The Norfoam patio must have been installed between 01 January 2023 – 31^st March 2025 inclusive.
• The image must be high resolution (minimum 300 DPI).
• There is a limit of one (1) entry per participant during each Selection Period (as defined in section 4). There is a limit of four (4) entries per participant during the Competition Period.
• The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including verifying that the featured panels are Norfoam Insulated Roof Panels, the patio installation date and an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

4. Prize

• At the end of each  calendar quarter (Selection Period) during the Competition Period, the best entry submitted during that Selection Period, as determined by a panel of [two (2)] Norfoam in-house judges, will win one (1) esky cool box, as pictured in promotional material for the Competition.
• There are a total of Two (2) esky cool boxes available for winning – one for each winner chosen during each of the Two (2Selection Periods. Two (2) eskies are 200 litre capacity and two (2) eskies are 275 litre capacity. The Promoter reserves the right to select which esky a winner will receive.

• The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.

• The total prize value is AUD$3,200.
• The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Competition.
• All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winners.
• The winners have rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other similar legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by the Promoter. These Terms do not exclude, restrict or limit those statutory rights in any way. However, to the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability whether arising in tort (including negligence), contract or otherwise for any loss, damage or injury, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising from or in connection with the Competition or the acceptance and/or use of the prize, including without limitation any equipment malfunction, any third-party interference and any tax implications.

5. Winner selection and notification

• This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be individually judged based on the merit and originality of the image and prominence of the Norfoam Insulated Roof Panels in the image. The judges may select additional reserve entries which they determine to be the next best, and record them in order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant.
• Winners will be notified in writing via email to the email address submitted at the time of entry / Facebook or Facebook Messenger within five (5) business days following the end of each Selection Period and will also be published on the Norfoam website / on Norfoam’s Facebook page for a period of three (3) months.
• Winners must respond within fourteen (14) days of notification to claim the prize. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to identify and locate the prize winners.
• If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to the Promoter within fourteen (14) days of notification, then the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter reserves the right to select a replacement winner of the prize.
• Each winner must collect their prize during business hours from Norfoam Townsville, 123 Enterprise Street, Bohle QLD 4818, within thirty (30) days of notification, unless otherwise agreed between a winner and the Promoter. Delivery of the prize may be arranged with the Promoter at the winner’s cost and risk, subject to agreement by the Promoter.
• Travel to and from Norfoam Townsville to collect the prize is not included in the prize and is the sole responsibility of the winners.
• The decision of the Promoter regarding all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Usage rights

• By entering this Competition, an entrant licenses the Promoter to use the content of their entry, including images, in any way the Promoter wishes (including modifying, adapting, copying, publishing, broadcasting or communicating the entry whether in original or modified form in whole or in part) in all media (including print and digital) for any purpose in perpetuity without payment to the entrant of royalties or compensation.
• By entering this Competition, an entrant consents to the Promoter dealing with their entry content in any way that may otherwise infringe the entrant’s moral rights and agrees not to assert their moral rights (wherever such rights are recognised) in respect of their entry against the Promoter or its assigns, licensees or successors.
• Entrants warrant that their entry is not in breach of any third-party intellectual property rights.

7. Privacy

• The Promoter requires the entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the Competition. If the entrant does not provide this personal information then they will not be able to take part in the Competition. By entering the Competition, unless otherwise advised by the entrant, each entrant consents to the information they submit with their entry being entered into a database and the Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant including sending the entrant electronic messages, and the Promoter may provide the information to organisations that assist the Promoter with promotional, marketing and publicity activities. All personal details of the entrants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office.
• Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
• The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury to entrants resulting from entering or participating in this Competition including arising from any comments made, or material published, by third parties about the participant on any social media platform in connection with this Competition.

• This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You are providing your information to the Promoter. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

• The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice.
• Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.

• The Promoter also reserves the right to cancel the Competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
